Jan 13 – Faith Journey Event for parents to attend with their child in the gym.
Focus: Growing Up with Jesus
Memory Verse: “Jesus became wiser and stronger.” Luke 2:52 (NIRV)

Jan 20 – Jesus’ family & friends go to a wedding.
Focus: Jesus helped His family & friends, and we can too.
Memory Verse: Dear friends, let us love one another, because love comes from God. Everyone who loves has become a child of God and knows God. 1 John 4:7

Jan 27 – Jesus visits His friends Mary & Martha
Focus: Jesus loves us and wants us to spend time with Him.
Memory Verse: The Lord appeared to us in the past. He said, “I have loved you with a love that lasts forever. I have kept on loving you with a kindness that never fails.”

GRADE 1-3

Jan 13 – The God Man
Focus: Jesus is God and man and I can believe in who He is.
Memory Verse: “I and the Father are one.” John 10:30

Jan 20 – Jesus – The Lamb of God
Focus: Jesus came to be the Lamb of God and I can believe in who He is.
Memory Verse: The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him. John said, “Look! The Lamb of God! He takes away the sin of the world!” John 1:29

Jan 27 – The Disciples
Focus: Jesus, the Son of God, chooses ordinary people to follow Him.
Memory Verse: After this, Jesus left the house. He saw a tax collector sitting at the tax booth. The man’s name was Levi. “Follow me,” Jesus said to him. Levi got up, left everything and followed him. Luke 5:27-28

GRADE 4-6

Jan 13 – God Leads – Temptation in the Wilderness
Focus: God’s power lives in us.
Memory Verse: “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”

Jan 20 – God Forgives – Healing of Paralyzed Man
Focus: Jesus forgives our sins and heals our hearts.

Jan 27 – God is Help – Walking on Water
Focus: God responds in the ways that are best for us.
