Laura began attending Bethany in 2017 along with her husband, Michael and their two daughters. She was initially drawn into connection with Bethany through the Mom’s Group and playing in the softball league. She just loved the community feel and knew this church was a perfect fit for her whole family.
Laura has always had a heart of compassion for people in challenging circumstances and vulnerable situations. This passion led her to a career working with marginalized populations as the manager of a local homeless shelter, here in St. Catharines.
Laura has almost a decade of experience working alongside individuals experiencing mental illness, addictions, homelessness and general hurts, habits and hang ups. She firmly believes that we all experience some form of brokenness in this world and that everyone could use a little help and encouragement towards finding freedom along their journey of faith and life.
She is so incredibly excited that God has called her to be The Support and Recovery Ministry Leader at Bethany and looks forward to journeying with others on a path of redemptive transformation.
