STEPHEN MINISTRY
Trained volunteers are available to meet with you for weekly one-on-one, Christ-centred caregiving.
Stephen Ministers care for people who are trying to deal with the stress of a life-changing event by offering a listening, compassionate and non-judgemental ear. They offer care to those experiencing a crisis such as a divorce, serious illness, death of a loved one, retirement, birth of a child, or loss of employment.
Care connections are individually arranged through our Pastor of Care.
-
DEACON CARE
Deacons make personal phone calls once a month to provide a source of connection to the church.
Deacons provide a friendly, listening ear to support, encourage and pray for those they call. This ministry is provided for those who are elderly, lonely, experiencing a temporary crisis, and/or are unable to attend Bethany on a regular basis.

Grief Share
