THE RINK IS

HOURS OF OPERATION

Daily 6:00 am - 10:00 pm as conditions allow.

The rink is resurfaced at 10:00 pm each night.

The rink is unsupervised. Please use responsibly!

  • Max 25 people on the ice rink at a time.

  • Always check this page BEFORE you arrive to see if rink is in fact OPEN (see above). Weather conditions may be different every day.

  • There are NO washrooms available onsite.

  • Please do not go on the ice when “closed” signs are up as this could result in damage and closure of the rink.

  • Please keep in mind that the rink will be used for skating only (no hockey). Rules are listed below (scroll down).

RULES AND REGULATIONS

We want everyone in our community to be able to enjoy this rink and have a safe and enjoyable experience. To ensure this, please abide by the following rules at all times:

HELP US KEEP OUR KIDS SAFE.

  • Parents and guardians are responsible for the adequate care, protection and supervision of their children.

  • Children 12 years of age and under MUST wear a CSA approved helmet and be supervised by a parent or guardian.

  • No strollers or chairs on the ice at any time. 

  • No holding your child in your arms.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS RINK IS UNSUPERVISED - USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

  • Skaters and spectators are deemed to have knowledge of and assume the inherent risks including, but are not limited to:

a) Injuries from collisions or contact with other individuals on the ice surface

b) Injuries from falls

HELP US KEEP EVERYONE SAFE.

  • No games (crack the whip, tag, horseplay, etc.), snowball or glove throwing.

  • No hockey/ringette sticks, pucks or balls.

  • No skating backwards, jumps, spins or other figure skating routines.

  • No sitting on the railings. 

  • Please circle the ice in the same direction and maintain a safe and controlled speed.

Only guests with skates are permitted on the ice. 

  • Please keep to black mats when wearing skates off the ice.

  • No animals, food/beverages, tobacco products, alcohol, illegal drugs, or profanity. 

  • Helmets are recommended for guests, age 13+. 

  • No more than 25 people on the rink at one time.
